Adegboyega Oyetola, a former governor of Osun state and now minister of marine and blue economy, who appears to be in a hurry to deliver on his Presidential mandate and make an appreciable impact to ensure that Nigeria benefit on the $1.5 trillion global economy has made a point of duty to carry Bashir Jamoh, OFR, and other Chief Executive Officers, CEOs, of the maritime agencies under the ministry.

Given that the former Osun state governor’s determination to succeed in his ministerial appointment in the new ministry may have informed why he has made Bashir Jamoh, OFR, the NIMASA, Director General and Mohammed Bello-Koko, Managing Director, Nigerian Ports Authority, NPA, who was represented by Onari Brown, the Authority Executive Director, Operations as members of the delegation who had received in audience a Team from Denmark on official visit to Nigeria.

Going by reports from the ministry the mission of the Denmark Team   was ‘’to strengthen bilateral collaboration between the two countries, which are members of the International Maritime Organisation, IMO, a United Nations, UN’s maritime agency to grow the marine and blue economy sector for the West African country’’.
