Banking : NOVA Bank Put Smiles On Faces Of  Customers, Achieves Global Cybersecurity ISO, 23072, Certification

Barely one year of operating as a Money Deposit Bank, MDB, after obtaining the license the license from the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, under the close watch of Oluyemi Michael Cardoso, the bank appears to have put smiles on the faces of customers as it achieves the global cybersecurity ISO, 23072, Standard Certification, which many banks in Nigeria are still struggling to get. Officials of the bank had described it as a major milestone their commitment ‘’to safeguarding customer data and digital operations’’.

Many believe that this significant achievement of the bank had repositioned the financial institutions in Nigeria with such distinction. A digital expert had told that cares to listen that the ISO 23072, focuses   on fortifying cybersecurity measures, ensuring robust protection for data systems and online transactions amid an ever -evolving cyber landscape.  The digital expert noted that the bank which is already certified in ISO  27001 for information security management and BCMS 22301 for Business Continuity Management , had further shown its dedication  ‘’to operational  excellence and security’’.

 Chinwe Moghalu, acting Managing Director of the bank who had described the ISO 23072 Standard Certification as a pivotal achievement   had said that customers had every reason to be happy.  She was emphatic that the Certification underscores the bank’s unwavering dedication to maintaining the highest global standard of cybersecurity.

She asserted that as the MDB, continue to innovate with customer -centric retail products, cybersecurity will remain at the heart of its operations. This may have informed why she had said that that Customers of the bank can be rest assured   that their data information and n are protected by some of the most advanced security frameworks in the global banking industry.

She had said that ‘’trusts is built on the security of the product, insisting that the bank is committed ‘’to providing a secure, reliable and innovative banking experience.  The NOVA Bank’s Executive Director, Operations and Information Technology, Davide Isavwe, who incidentally serves as the President and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, BOT, for the information security Society of Nigeria, ISSAN, was said to have emphasized the broader implications of the ISO Standard Certification is aimed at highlighting NOVA Bank’s proactive approach to addressing cybersecurity challenges.

The Executive Director noted that ‘’the Certification demonstrates the bank’s readiness to protect against  evolving threats  and its  ability to adapt  to the dynamic  landscape of digital banking.  She further statted that it reinforces   commitment to delivering secure and uninterrupted services to the bank valued customers.

Given an insider information, She had alluded that it aligns with the bank’s overarching- strategy of integrating utting-edge technology with its trademarked digital model -seamlessly blending physical and digital maritime experiences’’.

Besides obtaining the ISO 23072 Standard Certification Measures the bank, according informed sources was said to  have concluded arrangement to  lunch  a series of innovative  retail  banking  products  that will will focus on customers’ trusts and satisfactions.  She was said to have sounded it loud and clear that   the ISO 23072, Standard Certification   highlights the bank’s dedication to prioritizing , ensuring  a secure  and seamless  working  experience  for all customers of the bank  Vintage NOVA Bank.
