UBA: Good News For Fans As The Pan African Bank Premiers The Men’s Club Series 3 On REDTV

In spite of the Wuhan Town in Hebei Province of the  Asian country of China  emerged  coronavirus, popular, COVID 19,  which had informed delay in the premiering of the programme after the conclusion of the series 2, on July , 2019, due to the lock down of the  country since March, 2020, due to the deadly  disease, the United Bank for African, UBA, plc, a Pan African Bank, has ensured that there is no dull moment in its  operations on how to make its  teeming millions of Customers and Nigerians in general happy.

Bola Atta, Executive Director,  REDTV, and the Pan African Bank, Group Director, Corporate Communications and other creative  Thinkers in the bank, particular, in the Department, have always developed  new projects that would always  put the Bank on the front burner and the mind of Nigerians at every point in time.

One of such projects  that had  won the heart  of millions of Nigerians since its  debut on REDTV in  2018, was The Men’s Club, TMC. Given the popularity of the programme, there had been pressure on Bola Atta, Executive Director, REDTV and Group Director,  Corporate Communications and other members of the Team to return the programme.

 There was the  initial fear that the TMC  series may not  hold this year  because of the delay as a result of the COVID 1D 19, which had affected every sector of the economy , including the banking sector. The pressure and the clamour for the return of the programme by Fans across the country  may have informed why Atta, the Executive Director, REDTV and the Group Director, Corporate Communications, UBA plc, hto  mobilise his Team in the Department with the support of Kingsley Uzoka, the Bank Managing Director to prepare for the premiering  of the  popular, TMC, season 3, on Wednesday, (today), July 22, 2020.

As a prelude for the premiering of the TMC season 3, series, the REDTV, officials, had  announced its Platform last month the JUul 22, 2020 , date for the return of the long awaited TMC season 3 series. The excited Fans  had wanted the Pan AFRICAN Bank to draw the event closer but there was no much the Bank could do as the date has been agreed and fixed. 

Notwithstanding, there have been jubilations in different parts of  Lagos, the nation’s Commercial nerve center, Abuja and other major towns in the country since  the July 22, 2020, date for the premiering of  the TMC season 3 had been confirmed. Described  as a stop channel for Entertainment, REDTV , which is powered by the Pan African Bank had produced several other  series in the past. The recently released series include  Assistant Madams, which was said to be an epic fail, – season of TMC, released last July.

The good news was that the current TMC season 3  series have been packaged  in such a way that ’’it would be much mor than that the 2018 and  2019 series. An insider told The Value News that ‘’it  has been packaged to do more than  excite  its  teeming  and sophisticated audience with the adventures  of four Nigerian men:LOUIS Okafor, Tayo Oladapo, Aminu Garba and Lanre Taiwo  and how they navigate  their  drama-filled  tumultuous love lives’’.

These young men who are surrounded by women , business  and the hassles of the City , were said to have have shared their love relationships, broken hearts and hearts broken. Put simply,  they were said to have shared ‘’their highs, lows, ups and downs’’.

Iwas said to have been shot across prime locations  in different parts of the country. I t was said to have been based on a play  written  by one Dami Elebe and sets to define  the opinions  people have of young men in Lagos, the nation’s Commercial nerve center. The major actors in the play , according to an insider sources are  Efa Ewara, Baj Adebule, Ayolola Ayesaidola and Daniel Etim Effiong.  

The filming of the TMC series season 3, of the love lives of the four young Nigerians  was said to have began prior to the COVID emergence in the last March.  ‘’It was a learning process’, Atta has said. She noted that  the actors and the Crecw  were  tested  for COVID 19,  but tested Negative. Based on the result of the COVID 19 testing, all of them were said to have been accommodated  in a residence of not more than 20 , persons, as recommended by the Lagos state government. This is informed by the Chikwe Ihekweazu led Nigerian Center for Disease Control, NCDC and the World Health Organisation, a health agency of the United Nations, UN, Social Distancing, to stop the spread of the COVID 19.

 Atta, the Executive Director REDTV, who could not hide her feelings  has expressed  delight in being  able to wear  several  hats in UB and one of them being  the Executive  Producer  for REDTV,  emphaising  TV production as her passion. Another major Responsibility in the Bank being the Bank being the   Group Head,  Corporate Communications.

Many believe that she could not  have  hailed in her  responsibilities in the Bank  because she has a very  solid Team , described as egg heads in the Corporate Communications Department. A Corporate Communication expert described Ramon Olarenwaju, a General Manger in the Department and his Team as very Committed , resourceful and tireless in ensuring the actualisation of every assignment given to them. It is not surprising why the TMC, has become a success in all its ramifications, that other Banks are looking for the secret  in other to develop a similar project.
