In spite of the Wuhan Town in Hebei Province of the Asian country of China emerged coronavirus, popular, COVID 19, which had informed delay in the premiering of the programme after the conclusion of the series 2, on July , 2019, due to the lock down of the country since March, 2020, due to the deadly disease, the United Bank for African, UBA, plc, a Pan African Bank, has ensured that there is no dull moment in its operations on how to make its teeming millions of Customers and Nigerians in general happy.
Bola Atta, Executive Director, REDTV, and the Pan African Bank, Group Director, Corporate Communications and other creative Thinkers in the bank, particular, in the Department, have always developed new projects that would always put the Bank on the front burner and the mind of Nigerians at every point in time.
One of such projects that had won the heart of millions of Nigerians since its debut on REDTV in 2018, was The Men’s Club, TMC. Given the popularity of the programme, there had been pressure on Bola Atta, Executive Director, REDTV and Group Director, Corporate Communications and other members of the Team to return the programme.
There was the initial fear that the TMC series may not hold this year because of the delay as a result of the COVID 1D 19, which had affected every sector of the economy , including the banking sector. The pressure and the clamour for the return of the programme by Fans across the country may have informed why Atta, the Executive Director, REDTV and the Group Director, Corporate Communications, UBA plc, hto mobilise his Team in the Department with the support of Kingsley Uzoka, the Bank Managing Director to prepare for the premiering of the popular, TMC, season 3, on Wednesday, (today), July 22, 2020.
As a prelude for the premiering of the TMC season 3, series, the REDTV, officials, had announced its Platform last month the JUul 22, 2020 , date for the return of the long awaited TMC season 3 series. The excited Fans had wanted the Pan AFRICAN Bank to draw the event closer but there was no much the Bank could do as the date has been agreed and fixed.
Notwithstanding, there have been jubilations in different parts of Lagos, the nation’s Commercial nerve center, Abuja and other major towns in the country since the July 22, 2020, date for the premiering of the TMC season 3 had been confirmed. Described as a stop channel for Entertainment, REDTV , which is powered by the Pan African Bank had produced several other series in the past. The recently released series include Assistant Madams, which was said to be an epic fail, – season of TMC, released last July.
The good news was that the current TMC season 3 series have been packaged in such a way that ’’it would be much mor than that the 2018 and 2019 series. An insider told The Value News that ‘’it has been packaged to do more than excite its teeming and sophisticated audience with the adventures of four Nigerian men:LOUIS Okafor, Tayo Oladapo, Aminu Garba and Lanre Taiwo and how they navigate their drama-filled tumultuous love lives’’.
These young men who are surrounded by women , business and the hassles of the City , were said to have have shared their love relationships, broken hearts and hearts broken. Put simply, they were said to have shared ‘’their highs, lows, ups and downs’’.
Iwas said to have been shot across prime locations in different parts of the country. I t was said to have been based on a play written by one Dami Elebe and sets to define the opinions people have of young men in Lagos, the nation’s Commercial nerve center. The major actors in the play , according to an insider sources are Efa Ewara, Baj Adebule, Ayolola Ayesaidola and Daniel Etim Effiong.
The filming of the TMC series season 3, of the love lives of the four young Nigerians was said to have began prior to the COVID emergence in the last March. ‘’It was a learning process’, Atta has said. She noted that the actors and the Crecw were tested for COVID 19, but tested Negative. Based on the result of the COVID 19 testing, all of them were said to have been accommodated in a residence of not more than 20 , persons, as recommended by the Lagos state government. This is informed by the Chikwe Ihekweazu led Nigerian Center for Disease Control, NCDC and the World Health Organisation, a health agency of the United Nations, UN, Social Distancing, to stop the spread of the COVID 19.
Atta, the Executive Director REDTV, who could not hide her feelings has expressed delight in being able to wear several hats in UB and one of them being the Executive Producer for REDTV, emphaising TV production as her passion. Another major Responsibility in the Bank being the Bank being the Group Head, Corporate Communications.
Many believe that she could not have hailed in her responsibilities in the Bank because she has a very solid Team , described as egg heads in the Corporate Communications Department. A Corporate Communication expert described Ramon Olarenwaju, a General Manger in the Department and his Team as very Committed , resourceful and tireless in ensuring the actualisation of every assignment given to them. It is not surprising why the TMC, has become a success in all its ramifications, that other Banks are looking for the secret in other to develop a similar project.
