Volodymyr Zelenskyyy, The Ukrainian President, whose tenure is technical over but maintained in office by the western powers, appears obsessed to drag 26 countries in Europe out of 32, alongside the United States, US, and the United Kingdom, UK, into the Ukraine war.
Zelenskyy has every reason to drag European countries, US and UK, all North Treaty Organisation, NATO, member countries which had pushed it into the war against Russia in 2022, which had devastated its economy to suffer the same fate.
While the Ukrainian Leader has been shuttling Between Germany, France and other European countries including the US, over the last couple of months , urging the NATO , countries, particular, the European Leaders, to urgently provide Ukraine with long-range weapons and agree on a plan to use frozen Russian assets valued at about the US $300million to supply the long-range-to change the course of the war and put pressure on Russia to come to the negotiating table for peace talks.
Zelenskyy, was said to have been under intense pressure from minsters and other top government officials including members of Parliament to end the war which had devasted the country’s economy but appears to reluctant to do so.
Acting out a script of Mark Rutte, Secretary General of the European Union, EU, Germany Chancellor, Frederich Merz, Presidents Emmanuel Macron of France and Karol Tadeusz Nawrocki of Poland including Bart De Wever, Prime Minister of Belgium and other European Leaders,Zelenskyy, who had stood his ground that he would never give away any inch of Ukraine territories including Crimea, which had been persistent attack that had led to destruction of its only bridge to Russia had maintained the position .
The Ukrainian President may not have read the handwriting on the wall that the country might be wiped out from the World Map by Russia that he is still to advice of the European Leaders whose countries economy are shaky.
The US, President had demanded a frozen Ukraine frontline deal and call for Russia to be allowed take over full control of Donetsk region as against the four captured regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhian, where it currently controls 80% may not have been taken seriously by Zelenskyy and his European allies.
Determined to continue the war with Russia, which has the backing of the NATO member countries including the US and UK, may have given Zelenskyy, the audacity to piled up pressure on Trump, to transfer Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine, emphasizing the priority of diplomacy over military support to strike deep into Moscow, Capital of Russia. The US, Pentagon, had backed the Tomahawk missile supply to the Central European country been foot -dragging in doing to avoid going into open confrontation with Russia that may lead to avoidable WW3.
Brian Hegseth, the US, Secretary of War, popularly addressed as the Pentagon Chief, may have spoken the mind of President Trump, when he recently dropped a bombshell, urging the 26 European nations, which are eager to go to go to war with Russia, not to dare ‘’ depend on the US, ‘’to bear the cost of funding of the war.
The US, President had corroborated the Pentagon, Chief remarks, when he told the European Leaders recently that they should not look up to the US ‘’to pay for the supply of weapons and missiles that would be procured for the Ukraine war from his home country if it escalates.
He was said to have sounded it loud and clear to the German Chancellor Merz, President Macron, of France and the other European Leaders, including Rutte, the Secretary General of the EU, never to have at the back of their mind that the US, would provide logistics for the European soldiers.
He was said to have warned the European Leaders, not to allow Zeleskyy, described as a ‘’pathetic Leader’’, to drag them into the ongoing war with Russia, warning that any EU, country, which dare attacks Russia would bear the consequences like Ukraine which many fears, was at the verge of becoming a sovereign nation , going by the intensified bombing of the country, including Kyiv, the Capital, by Putin’s soldiers.
The Germany Chancellor, Merz and the French President Macron, had repeatedly expected Trump to throw his weight behind Europe if it goes into war with Russia over Ukraine were said to have been shocked t when the US, President, who could not hide his feelings told them categorically that his country had no business with the Ukraine war, describing it as ‘’the European war and should fight it’’.
Trump’s major worries were that if European Leaders wants ‘’to go into war with Russia but expects the US, to help out with the supply of weapons and logistics, they would be disappointed.’’. An aggrieved Trump, who could not hide his feelings was said to have told the European Leaders, at their various meetings in the recent times that his decision does not take away the fact that they remain allies.
He noted the US and Europe being allies, does not mean that it would forever bear their burden’’, insisting that the Ukraine war is their own war and should be able to fund and fight it.The EU, Leadership may have sent a message to Trump , that they are equal to the task to fund the Ukraine war as they were said to have rearmed Ukraine that the country carry out a recent precision strikes that was said to have devastated multiple Russian Command centres, in Moscow, forcing President Putin to retreat to a secret underground bunker.
The Kyiv explosions was said to have rocked some key regions in the east European country, destroying logistics hubs and crippling communication lines, fueling speculations of collapse of Russia front lines.
As a prelude to dragging the NATO member countries into the Ukraine war, as articulated in article 5, of the Security Organisation Constitution, that an attack on any member nation is an attack on all, may have emboldened why Zelenskyy , whose country has not been admitted into the Oranisation but had had been benefitting from its funding and weapons supply , to have attacked Russian linked refineries -Lukoil’s Petrotel plant in Romania and MOLs Szazhalombatta facility in Hungary, simultaneously on Monday, October, 27, 2025 , halting operations, accusing Russia of using its drones to launch the unprovoked attack, confirming President Trump earlier warning that the European Leaders should be wary of Zelenskyy who wants to throw Europe into a theatre of war.
The Polish President, Nawrocki, who is working in agreement with the Zelenskyy of Ukraine, to escalate the Ukrainian war, was said to have also claimed to have shot down Russia drone in its air space to provoke Russia to deploy its nuclear weapons into the Ukraine war that could drag the US, into the aar, as well.
Aware that Putin, described by the European Leaders and President Zelenskyy as dangerous may have been pushed to the wall as Ukraine deploys Germany supplied long -range missiles to strike deep into Russia which may force Putin to initiate plans of deploying the country’s nuclear weapons into the Ukraine war may have informed why Trump had given the nod to the Pentagon ‘’to immediately start testing the country’s nuclear weapons and other cruise missiles which had been idle over the years to give it back to Russia and Asian country of China, which had been involved in testing their nuclear weapons in recent times.
Trump may have followed the foot step of the other world leaders to test the country’s nuclear weapons to avoid being caught unawares in the Ukraine war which is getting messier by the day.
