Fidelity Bank Reward customers

 A total 13 of customers of Fidelity Bank Plc will have a sumptuous yuletide celebration this2018 as they have emerged winners of the bank’s Get Alert in Millions Savings,GAIM, season three. At the ceremony held in Lagos, the bank doled out a whopping N19 million to reward its loyal customers.

Some of the winners of the savings promo which is the second monthly1st bi-monthly draw were  Kamsiyochukwu Okoli, Abuja,  won N2 million; Ms Elisabeth David, Kaduna branch, N3 million and  Collins Oragwam of Akoka branch, Lagos, N2 million.

 Speaking at the event, the Managing Director of Fidelity Bank  Nnamdi Okonkwo said the promo was the eight edition conducted by the bank in the last 11 years. According to him this was the second draw since the promo commenced in October 2018. He noted that at the end of the promo, the bank would have given out a total of N76 million in cash and other consolation prizes like refrigerators, television sets and generators to 62 winners.

Also speaking at the event, the bank’s Executive Director, Shared Services and Product  Chijioke Ugochukwu said the winners emerged from a process conducted by the bank’s control team, witnessed by officials of the Consumer Protection Council ,CPC, and other stakeholders. Stressing that the promo was initiated to strengthen the Federal Government’s financial inclusion policy and disclosed that the bank has also given out airtime worth N1.8m to 1,400 customers.

“N76 million is still outstanding for grabs by lucky customers in the course of the promo.“N110 million will be given to customers at the end of the GAIM 3 promo expected to last for six months. “The focus of the bank is to improve the standard of living of its customers and to strengthen savings culture,’’ she said.

Ugochukwu said the savings promo allowed the bank to go into the `nooks and crannies’ of the country to enlighten people on financial inclusion.“Today, the draw produced 13 cash winners of N19 million nationwide and produced 18 consolation prize winners of table top fridges, generators and television sets.

“This event has been publicly conducted with the public witnessing that produced winners across the country,” Ugochukwu said, adding,“What we urge customers to do, is to go and save your money with Fidelity in any of our branches across the country,”Also speaking, Mr Richard Madiebo, the bank’s Divisional Head, Retail Banking, said the bank used the savings promo to reward customers during this Yuletide season.

The bank it could be recalled had over the years initiated such promo as a way of appreciating its teeming customers. In 2012 the bank unveiled Cash and Car Savings promo whereby 25 cars and N25m were given out to customers to mark the bank’s 25th anniversary. Again in 2014 the bank initiated Save and Scholarship promo where it doled out N80 million in scholarships to its customers.

Apart from the customer saving promo the bank also recently introduced some electronic cash transaction promo which include transferring foreign exchange through mobile phone as well as a chat banking where a customer can chat while banking.
