Barely seven months after the Committee on appointment, promotion and discipline of the Governing Council of the Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria, CRFFN, ordered Sam Nwakoahu the immediate past Registrar who had retired on January 31, 2023, to handover to Mrs. Chinyere Uromta , the most senior Management staff of the Council, as the acting Registrar, may have started her first working visit outside the Council Abuja, Federal Capital Territory, FCT, office, to the Nigerian Ports Authority , NPA, Corporate Headquarters, Marina, Lagos , to familiarise the Coul members with the Mohammed Bello- Koko led Management Team.
The CRFFN, acting Registrar and his Council members were said to have bee received by Bello-koko, the NPA, Managing Director and some of hisManagement team, before retiring for closed door discussion at the Authority’s Boardroom. The NPA, Managing Director, may have seen the visit of the CRFFN, acting Registrar’s visit and her team as an opportunity to speak out on how to improve relationships between the two government agencies to ease the way of doing business at the nation’s sea’s seaports.
The group pictures taken by the NPA, top officials and their CRRN, Counterparts speaks volume.In the first picture taken, Bello-koko, the NPA, Chief Executive officer, CEO, who had received the Council, acting Registrar, had handed over a souvenir in the tradition of the agency to other visiting CEOs, of other agencies.
The second picture that was taken by the NPA, Media photographer had brought out clearly all the management staff of the Authority and the CRFFN, officials. Bello-Koko, the NPA, boss, was seen standing on the lefthand corner while Mrs, Uromta, the CRFFN, acting Registrar, was on the 6th position, also on the lefthand side of the picture as well. Mrs.Aderele S. Adesina, the NPA, Executive Director Director, ED, Finance and Administration was seen on the 4th position of the group picture.
Ibrahim Abba Umar, was on the 4th right hand corner of the group picture . Other people in the group picture includes both officials of both NPA and CRFFN, during the latter’s Management working visit to the Management of the Authority at the Corporate Head office, Marina, Lagos.
