With barely two and half years in office as the Director General of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency,NIMASA, Bashir Jamoh, has taken the agency Corporate Social Responsibility Programme , CSR, to greater heights that both states and Corporate Institutions have benefited from it.
It has donated Medicaal equipment, educational materials, security intervention items and relief materials to states across the Federation as part of its 2022 CSR programme alone.
Only recently ,the agency had donate medical equipment to some hospitals in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory, FCT.Presenting the items, to the various Hospitals at the different locations in the FCT, Jamoh, the NIMASA Dirctor General, who was said to have been represented by Isichei Osamgbi, Director , Special Duties, explained that ‘’the donation was part of its CSR, programme.

The NIMASA, Chief Executive Officer, CEO, had said that the presentation to Asokoro District Hospital was symbolic and that other hospitals within the FCT were also billed to benefit from the donation.
According to him ‘’the gesture was to support the Federal Government and other stakeholders in improving service delivery in the health care sector in Nigeria.
In apparent Response to the NIMASA, gesture,Abbass Idriss, the Executive Secretary of the FCT, Emergency Management Agency,FEMA, and the Medical Director of Asokoro District Hospital, had expressed deep appreciation to Jamoh and his Management Team, emphasising that ‘’the items would go a long way towards improving health care delivery in the FCT’’.
