General and Chief Army Staff, Air Marshall Olayinka Amao and Vice Admiral, Awal Zubairu Gambo, Chief of Naval Staff, CNS, on Tuesday, April 19, 20322, to restrategise on how to tackle the increasing challenges in the country.The Nigerian President knew that he cannot afford not to redeem his promise of restoring normalcy in the country as he is working round the clock to so.

The US , which is one of the Leading North Atlantic Treay Organisation , NATO, supporting Volodymyr Zelensky led Government of Ukraine with the supply of weapons in the fight against Russia had said the sale of the weapons to Nigeria is part of its efforts to boost Nigeria’s security.
Informed sources told The Value News that the Nigerian government had requested to buy ‘’to buy AH-IZ attack Helicopters, 28 T-700 GE 40 IC engines,(24 installed spares) and two thousand 2,000 Advanced Precision Kill Weapon system , APKWS, guidance sections , including Night Vision Cueing Display, NVCD, commercial variant GPS, Communication equipment , electronic warfare systems, AN/ AVS -9 9 Aviator’s Night Vision Imaging System, M197 20mm machine gun, Target Sight System, TSS, spport equipment, spare and engine containers, spare and repair parts, tools and test equipment, technical data and publications.
Also contained in the weapons supply deal, the US Defense Corporation Agency, were said to have agreed to training of Nigerian Air Force personnel and supply of training equipment, Mission Planning system, US. Government and contractor engineering, technical and logistics support services, US Government and contractor assistance and oversight of facilities construction including the provision of plans, drawings and specifications.
There are indications that $25million of the US Lawmakers approved $997 million for sale of weapons funds for sale of weapons to Nigeria will be allocated for Institutional and Technical assistance to the Armed Forces of Nigeria to continue Air –Ground Integration , AGI, programme, which include developing targeting processes that are legally compliant with international Humanitarian Law and Laws of Armed conflict and other related elements of logistics and programme support.
