The last may not have been heard why the Germany Chancellor, Frederick Merz, President Emmanuel of France and other European Union Leaders and Kier Starmer, the British Prime Minister have thrown their weight behind Volodymyr Zelenskyy, to fight Russia.
This is because of President Vladimir Putin of Russia moves to lead the African countries under the strong grip of France and the United Kingdom, UK out of poverty. The duo of Macron and Starmer had expected the colonized countries in the Wes and Central African sub-regions including the Sahel states of Burkina Faso, Niger Republic and Mali to remain in perpetual darkness and be waiting for crumbs as Aid from the Western nations including the North American country of the United States.
Take for instance, President Macron, whose country miners were always smiling to Bank as they pay a paltry sum of US sixty dollars to the Burkina Faso and the Malian government for a kilogram of gold mined and exported from these countries.
Capt. Ibrahim Traore, the Burkinabe Leader and Gen. Assimi Goita, the interim President of Mali contact with Putin between 2022 and 2023, appears to have changed the situation. The trio of Traore, Goita and Gen. Abdullahi Tchiani of Niger, may not have waited until France, the former colonizer, completely kill their respective countries before taking the bold initiative to take over control of their minerals. The gold export in Burkina Faso and Mali, may have paid off the Sahel countries, no thanks to President Putin, as a Kilogram was sold at the international market at US $200 just as the price of a Kg just as a kg of uranium, mined and exported from Niger, also improved significantly.
At one of the World Bank /IMF, meetings in New York, that was said to have been attended by Capt. Traore, he was said to have created scene insisting that France, Germany, Switzerland, UK and the US, must pay Burkina Faso, Mali, Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa and other African countries for their stolen gold.
Armed with relevant document to showcase how the mineral was taken away from the African countries with dates and amount involved may have emboldened him to demand that the countries refund US$500 billion to the African countries for the stolen gold.
Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the IMF, who quickly understood that the African countries are no longer going to take it , the exploitation of their mineral resources was said to have moved in to calm the situation, stressing that the World Bank/IMF, was set up for control of the third world countries, which includes countries in the African Continent, which the rich mineral resources like gold, oil, diamond, manganese, phosphate , cobalt, Platinum, uranium and other rare earth mineral resources but the people are still poor. Gen. Tiachni of Niger Republic, who had followed the footsteps of Traore and Goita to block France mining Companies from exploiting their gold appears to have made matters worse for France by ensuring the country’s takeover of its uranium mines. In just two months, there are indications that 58 factories which could not afford the high energy bill have closed up in France.
The 58 closed factories was said to have included the 35 factory closures 2024 and the 23 other factories that had wand up production between July, 2025, and now. The Nigerien Leader was said to have made it impossible for Orano, the French uranium mining company to have access to the country’s free uranium again to run the country nuclear reactors for generation of electricity.
The embattled President Macron, could not understand why Putin should get himself involved in its former colonies to free them from the country’s strong grip with its implications to his home country’s economy.
The French President who had been involved in the ongoing Ukraine and Russian which, Joe Biden, the immediate past American President, whose country had been very much involved in financing the Ukraine war and involved in supplying thousands of Patriot air defense battery and AMRAAN missiles to Zelenskyy to defend Ukraine and its people to sustain the war through the EU, Leadership had maintained his hardline position against Russia.
The Ukrainian Leader had confirmed that Macron had succeeded in convincing Nicusor Dan, the Romanian President and Karol Nawrocki of Poland, who were said to have dragged their countries into the war, to fight alongside Ukrainian troops in Western Ukraine.
Mark Rutte, the EU, Secretary General, EU, had sounded loud and clear, that notwithstanding the support of Germany, France, Romania , Netherland and Poland to Ukraine with funds troops and weapons supply, the countries cannot stand the Russian Oreshnik missile, calling on Antonio Gutterres, the UN, Secretary General to intervene and prevail on Putin not to use the deadly weapon on Ukraine or any other European country involved in the ongoing war with Ukraine.
Putin may have known that the US and other NATO members are already involved and given the 12-day Ultimatum by the US President which had drawn to a close may have encouraged Putin to order the country’s Strategic Missile Command ‘’to prepare the deadly RS26 Oreshnik missiles which is capable of hitting the European cities of Brussels, Germany; Paris, France; Rome, Italy; Warsaw. Ploland; Talinn, Estonia; Kiev; Riga, Latvia and London, UK, within minutes.
Trump, the US, President, who had repeatedly complained that the then Biden’s Administration had committed $350 billion to funding the Ukraine war coupled with the additional $60 billion that was said to have been approved by the Congress for Ukraine by the Administration appears to be telling on the local economy.
This may have informed why the Administration has sent a signal to the EU, Leadership of withdrawing from funding the NATO, countries. This is evident as the Administration was said to have halted the hundreds of millions of dollars in security funding to those European nations close to Russia.
President Trump, who is not ready to go into war wit Russia, may have taken the bold initiative Administration, has not sought ‘’to renew the European nations portions of the Aid spelt out in section 333 funding and Baltic Security Imitative, which supports EU, countries like Estonia, Latvia and Lithunia, all former Republics in the old Soviet Union.
Zelenskyy may have given Trump the impression that Russia is losing the war when he told him at their recent meeting in Washington Dc, at their recent meeting that in the last one thousand days of full-scale war with Russia with the support of the EU, countries and the UK, Russia has managed to occupy less than one percent of additional Ukraine territory.
He may have gladdened the American President Heart, who is gradually backing out from the war that the battle of Pokrovsk in Western Ukraine should give him an insight into the Russian Army’s diminishing offensive potential.
Zelensky, who according to diplomats had resorted to Propaganda to win the support of the EU, Leadership and the UK, including the US, had said that since the summer of 2024, ‘’Putin has sacrificed tens of thousands of soldiers and thousands of armoured vehicles in an attempt seize the small but strategically significant city of Pokrovsk in the Donbas region, which he said remains under Ukrainian control’’.
Appealing to Trump, Zelenskyy had said that ”this is the time for the US and the EU, countries to make a decisive intervention of their own by strategically strengthening the Ukrainian Army”. He noted that the war with Russia is as good as having been won. Hear Him: If Ukraine is provided with the tools, it needs in order to prevent fourth Russian advances and expand attacks on the Kremlin war machine inside Russia, Putin may be forced to do a rethink on the invasion and seek a lasting settlement.
According to him, unless the US and the EU, takes his submissions seriously and act it without further delay, the war with Russia will continue indefinitely against the backdrop of fourth futile summits in Washington DC and diplomatic distractions.
It would be recalled that Zelenskyy had requested for US $120 billion from the EU, to sustain the war against Russia in 2026, to force the country out of Africa.
