Donald Trump, the North American country of the United States US, President appears to have exposed the agenda of American Leaders, now and in the previous years.
The US, President may have hit the nail on the when he disclosed recently that the US, government has participated and interfered both covertly and overtly, in the replacement of many foreign governments.
The American President who had given the impression that the US, Government is currently fighting a drug cartel in the south American country of Venezuela, was said to have clearly stated its intention of trying to replace Nicholas Maduro, the country’s President, using drug -related offence to justify the US, government action baron was a ploy. Note that Mexico, Columbia and several North and south American countries have drug barons but have not been attacked or efforts made to change their Leadership.
The American President had confirmed recently during an interactive session with the Press in Washington DC, the country’s Capital, that the country had engaged the services of officials of the Central Intelligence Agency, CIA, officials who are deployed to countries endowed with vast mineral resources for strategic operations.
He may have alluded to the CIA, strategic operations in Laos, Dominican Republic, Iraq, Guyana, Brazil, Indonesia, Nicaragua, Haiti, Honduras, Panama, DRC in the ‘60s and several other countries in the African Continent, including Ghana and Nigeria.
The Venezuelan President may have known that Trump, is using the CIA, to remove him from office and install a puppet that he was said to have given the US, access its oil and other rare earth elements to remain office. He had confirmed that Maduro had ‘’offered the US government everything’’ including access to the country’s natural resources to preempt being removed from office .
This was the situation in the eastern European country of Ukraine, which is currently at war with the Russian Federation where the CIA, had joined forces with locals to overthrow Viktor Yanukovych, the country’s pro-Russian President, in 2014, installed Volodymyr Zelenskyy, described by President Vladimir Putin of Russia as an American puppet.
Zelenskyy had given the US, approval to establish a military base in the country and access to its Lithium, uranium, and other rare earth elements in the Donbas oblast, including gas concessions for funds and weapons supply to fight Russia.
The CIA, had justified their action to influence the regime change in Ukraine, claiming that the country’s then Leader Yanukoych, was reverting the country back into a Russian satellite state.
Given the strategic operations of the CIA, in Alliance for Sahel state of Burkina Faso, Niger and Mali, after the French Army was kicked out between 2022 and 2023, may informed why the US intelligence agency officials who are the eyes and ears of the US, government had continuously ploted to remove Ibrahim Traore, an Army Captain, and interim President of Burkina Faso from office.

Acting out a script of the CIA, President Trump, was said to have demanded that 90% of Burkina Faso’s oil and gold reserves be mined by the US but got it wrong.
Drawing from experience from what the CIA and the French colonizers had done over the years in African and South American Continent including some Asian countries endowed with vast rich mineral resources may have emboldened the Burkina Faso interim President, with the backing of the Russian Leader, Putin, to have ordered the US intelligence operatives, to leave the country described by the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund, IMF, as poor, thus expelling an era of ‘’quiet foreign control’. The CIA, were the eyes and ears of Washington DC, and shadow of its modern politics to pave the way for it to forcefully exploit other countries minerals and rare earth elements in return for financial and military support.
It would be recalled that in April 2025, there was a plot to overthrow the Burkinabe Junta Leader, Capt. Traore, but was foiled by the country’s armed Forces. There had been 19 other attempts CIA and President Emmanuel Macron backed coups to overthrow him, which had failed.
Putin, the Russian, President, who had taken Traore, as his own son, had put a close tab on him to ensure that the CIA agenda and France , did not succeed in their plot to actualize , the regime change in Burkina Faso, that would give the US, access to the country’s gold, oil and other mineral resources that he had deployed Russia military personnel to protect the Burkinabe Junta Leader. President Trump may have realized that the CIA, strategic operations for regime in countries had been uncovered and his determination to ensure that the US, takeover the mining of the mineral resources in Burkina Faso, may have informed why he had quietly recalibrated the US, government strategy on the Sahel States , trading providing military support to the West African Juntas battling Terrorists for access to the region’s vast mineral resources, signaling an era of transactional diplomacy.
Trump may have adopted this operational strategy, to counter Russian and the Asian country of China, influence in the African Continent, particular, in the Sahel region.
The situation in Democratic Republic of Congo, is even more worrisome. Trump, had told US, miners t takes advantage of the peace deal brokered between DRC and Rwanda, which had been at war, and move into DRC, endowed with vast rare earth resources like copper, Lithium, cobalt and other rare earth elements which requires the power of Information Technology, IT and AI, Solutions to mine.
Felix Tshisekedi, the current President of DRC, may not have read the handwriting on the wall of the plan of the US, government to take over the country’s mineral resources and rare earth elements that he had played into the hands Trump who needed the country’s rare earth elements to boost it its economy.
This is evident as Trump, who had daggled billions of dollars to him to allow the country have access to its rich minerals and rare earth elements valued at about US $24 trillion. Note that DRC, at present produces 70% of the world’s cobalt and has large reserves of other rare earth e elements.
Already, the US, mining company, Ko-Bold Metals, which had hearkened to the calls of the American President to take advantage of the working agreement with the DRC, to invest in its untapped minerals and rare earth elements were said to have invested US $1 billion, to explore part of the Manono lithium project, along with access to a nationwide trove of digitized geological data and a mandate to carry out large-scale exploration across the nooks and crannies of DRC.
The partnership deal which was said to have strengthened military cooperation, training and equipping of the DRC, soldiers to protect its mineral supply routes, and giving the US, access to the country’s military bases to protect the country strategic resources and replacing ineffective United Nations, UN, peace keeping operations with direct US-DRC, security cooperation had been actualized but nothing has changed in the country.
In spite of the peace, brokered by President Trump between DRC. President, Tshisekedi and Paul Kageme of Rwanda, in Washington DC, which was said to have resulted in the US, mining companies, flooding eastern DRC, to mine cobalt, lithium, copper and other rare earth elements, the M23, armed group, which had initially been suppressed , forcing some of the M23 group in the DRC, provinces to go underground were said to have resumed attacks in the eastern DRC,, stalling the operations of the US, mining companies.
Uncofirmed reports said the US, military personnel in the DRC, have not done anything to contain the activities of the M3 terrorists as they are more concerned in protecting their mined minerals and other rare earth elements supply routes to ensure that the items get to the US, market for production of the country’s defense, IT and Technology equipment.
There is no gain saying the fact, that the DRC’s eastern region, over the years, had been a home to some of the world’s richest mineral deposit reserves of gold, cobalt, copper and coltan but had been devastated over the years by armed conflict.
Many had expected that with the presence of the US, CIA and military personnel and in DRC, the M3, armed groups, could be wiped out but the reverse appears to be the case, an indication that there was no basis for the US, government to have been allowed to establish a military base i that are not serving the people’s interest but had worsened the security situation of the country..
